In the making

The last week of our journey in Cape Town is upon us and the table is set for the assembly of our end product. We’ve drawn up patterns, cut out leather, glued and sewed, creating the outside shapes of our bags. We are now moving to the inside of the bags to design the lining and pockets. Part of this journey has been learning and documenting the step by step process of how the bags are made. Not only will we have prototypes to showcase but we’ll obtain the guidelines need for our seamstresses in Zambia. Want to see what happens in the workshop? Check out the pictures below!
