I’m in Zambia again! It feels a bit surreal to be back so soon, but it was difficult to leave Iris behind with the start-up. We have so much to do before Christmas and she is also handing in her master’s thesis in December. Obviously, I also want to be a part of the making of our very first bags. Exciting times!
I didn’t tell the ladies that I was coming back, wanted it to be a surprise. I know Iris had hard time keeping quiet, but she made the perfect surprise plan. We have decided to something fun every payday. This month it was suppose to be last Friday, but Iris fooled the ladies and told them fun-day was postponed. I think the ladies got a bit disappointed and didn’t quite understand what was going on. I landed in Livingstone on Tuesday and went straight to the falls (Victoria Falls). Meanwhile, Iris picked up the ladies for their “Payday Fun-day”. I hid behind the statue of Dr. Livingstone and waited for the ladies. The reaction was just too funny! Epic day!
Good to be back!
Angela spotted me first! (“,)
Sweet reunions! (and as you can see, the rain season caught me by surprise too!)
